1. Who is responsible for your data

2. Data we receive from Google sign-in

Job seekers sign in to our careers portal with their Google account. When you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares only the following with us, and only after you agree on Google's consent screen:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your Google profile picture (we receive the link but do not use or store it in your profile)
• A unique account identifier, so that only you can open and edit your profile

We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Google Drive, calendar or any other Google service, and we never post anything to your account.

3. How we use Google user data

• To sign you in securely and keep you signed in on your device
• To pre-fill your name on the job application form
• To save your job seeker profile against your account, so you can view, update or delete it later
• To contact you about jobs that match your profile, using the email address you signed in with or the phone number you give us

Shivshlok's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide the service described here (our hosting provider, below) or where the law requires it. No human at Shivshlok reads your Google data except the business owner, to review your job application.

4. Other data we collect

• Job seeker profile (only what you enter): full name, mobile and WhatsApp numbers, age, gender, district and state, trade, skill level, years of experience, certificates, past employers, expected pay, availability, languages, willingness to relocate, notes about yourself, and the job you applied for.
• Files you upload (optional): a CV or certificate and a photo, in PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP format, up to 5 MB each.
• Business enquiries: name, phone number, company, site location, the service you need and your message, when you submit the enquiry form on our home page.
• Website analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they view, their approximate city, device type and how they found us, and which buttons (such as our phone number) are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies. It does not tell us who you are.

5. Why we use your data (purpose and legal basis)

• To match job seekers with suitable work at our clients' sites and to contact them about it
• To respond to business enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up
• To verify workers before deployment (documents are checked in person; we do not ask you to upload ID documents online)
• To keep our website working, secure and useful

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the application form or by submitting an enquiry. You may withdraw consent at any time (see section 9).

6. Who can see your data

Your profile, files and enquiries can be seen only by you (for your own profile) and by the owner of Shivshlok Enterprise through a private dashboard that only the owner's Google account can open. Access is enforced by the database itself, so other applicants and the public cannot see your information. We may share a shortlisted candidate's name, trade, experience and phone number with a client employer only after speaking with that candidate about the specific job. We never sell personal data.

7. Where and how your data is stored

Data is stored with Supabase, our database and file-storage provider, on servers in Mumbai, India (AWS ap-south-1). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Uploaded files are kept in a private storage area and can only be opened through short-lived secure links. Our website is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Google provides the sign-in service and Google Analytics.

8. How long we keep data

• Job seeker profiles and files: while your profile is active, and deleted within 30 days after you delete it or ask us to. Profiles with no activity are reviewed and removed after 3 years.
• Business enquiries and follow-up notes: for up to 5 years, for business and tax records.
• Analytics data: kept by Google Analytics for 14 months.

9. Your rights and choices

• See and correct your data: sign in on the careers page and edit your profile at any time.
• Delete your data: use “Delete my profile” on the application page, which removes your profile and uploaded files immediately, or email us.
• Withdraw consent or ask any question about your data: email ssmandal1993@gmail.com or call +91 8101962033. We reply within 7 working days.
• Revoke our access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity, as allowed by the DPDP Act.

10. Grievances

If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Children

Our careers portal is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the profile.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell registered job seekers by email or WhatsApp.
